This E.J. Smit and Son Tugboat is part of the sailing heritage. A real tugboat from 1927 which has been maintained and kept in service by a real enthusiast. One of the accompanying documents is a certificate of measurement with part of the history of this beautiful ship. In our enthusiasm for an overhaul, we took the cylinder head off and only then found out that finding a head gasket for this specific type of engine is a huge challenge. So ideal for the technical people among us. We are currently investigating the possibility of having a skilled specialist make a reproduction of the head gasket.
