This very neat Melkscheepje 1400 spent a considerable time in France. The hull of this beautiful barge dates back to around 1916 (according to three hull reports found inside the ship), but the superstructure was installed in the 1970s. The ship boasts a collection of renovations/refits carried out in the 1990s (I think). This beautiful boat is equipped with a range of amenities for extended stays or even residential use. The headroom is certainly noteworthy: 1.96m behind the wheel and 1.98m behind the forecourt, which is truly exceptional for flat-bottomed boats. A full galley with hot water, electric cooking instead of gas, and a spacious head with shower and toilet are also featured. A great deal has also been renovated and modernized beneath the hull. This boat is in truly excellent condition.
